Update to say that this camera takes 4 AA batteries. It does not “charge”. I thought it was supposed to do that at first too, but all you have to do is replace the batteries! Remove the black panels on each side and you will find where to put them. It works perfectly fine and my daughter still loves it.

I was hesitant to buy this camera because there were no reviews yet. However, I am happy I did. I really wanted something that was more appropriate for my daughter who is about to turn 7, and I didn’t want to buy an adult camera or child polaroid camera. Our old VTech camera was great for a toddler/ pre-schooler, but the resolution was horrible. Plus, the memory wasn’t expandable and the screen was very small. This camera has everything we wanted, selfie mode, improved resolution for the photos, expandable memory, durable, two little “handles” so I can add a neck strap if I want, and the headphones are a huge bonus for her! She just opened it today and loves it! I will come back and update if anything goes wrong, but it is perfect!

Funciona muy bien, la calidad de las fotos es aceptable, tiene marcos y efectos graciosos que mi niño de 3 años pudo manejar sin problemas, ademas de efectos de distorsion de voz, asà que un niño más grande tampoco batallarÃa. Es excelente producto y muy resistente.
Utiliza 4 pilas AA y le duran bastante. Tiene algo de memoria interna, pero se termina rápido, asà que es necesario una memoria SD. (Intenté con una de 512Gb y la cámara nunca prendió, y después con una de 16Gb y funcionó bien, asà que supongo que no tolera tanta capacidad.)
**Actualización un año después ** La cámara sigue funcionando perfectamente, ha sufrido más caÃdas de las que puedo contar, y no muestra gran desgaste. Es un excelente producto.
**Actualizacion 2o año** Definitivamente es la mejor compra que he hecho en cuanto a regalos para mi hijo. Sigue funcionando a la perfeccion. Ya no la usa tanto como antes, pero sigue agarrandola para tomar fotos y videos, jugar con las funciones de distorsion de voz, etc. Ahora su hermanito de 2 años la trae “de moda” y ha aguantado el uso que le da un niño de esa edad.
