Grazie al programma Vine ho avuto modo di poter testare diversi smartwatch dai 50€ in giù, ragion per cui, facendo i dovuti confronti, credo di aver trovato quello dal giusto compromesso.
Devo fare una premessa: finora ho testato il fratello maggiore, l’ID207 di cui sono rimasto piacevolmente colpito.
PACKAGING
La confezione è ben fatta e curata nei dettagli. Buona la scelta del bianco opaco con le scritte dorate lucide. Al suo interno:

Prima di tutto partiamo dall’estetica: bello. Mi piace. Il golf rose del case, abbinato al rosa del cinturino, risulta anche elegante, cosa rara negli orologi con finalità sportive. Quadrante piccolo dalla grandezza giusta, con diametro di 1,55”cm. leggerissimo (35g. Il Mi Band 4 pesa 20g, ma il display è meno della metà) e allo stesso tempo luminoso, il più luminoso finora provato tra i tanti smartwatch provati, sotto la luce diretta del sole (superiore anche al Mi Band 4).
L’angolo di visuale è molto largo: piegandolo, pur essendo un IPS, risulta sempre ben visibile.
La carica avviene in 2,5h circa ed avviene tramite il cavo proprietario che risulta magnetico in modo da facilitare l’aggancio. Non si utilizzano ingressi di carica USB C o micro USB B in quanto tramite la carica magnetica, viene permessa un grado di impermeabilità fino a 5AMT che permette di andare fino a 50m sott’acqua. Ovviamente non sono andato a mare, visto il periodo invernale, ma sotto l’acqua del lavandino lo si può mettere tranquillamente.
La durata della batteria si attesta, con bluetooth e notifiche sempre attive sui 7 giorni pieni. Il Mi Band 4 dura un po’ di più, ma ha un display molto più piccolo.
Il display è molto oleofobico. Cosa inusuale su questa fascia di prezzo.
Vi sono delle watch face di default applicabili dallo smartwatch, andando nelle impostazioni, oppure dall’app. Avrei preferito una più vasta scelta delle stesse, magari con qualche aggiornamento ne aggiungeranno. Vi un problema nell’inserimento di watch face nuova: mi dice sempre che v’è la memoria piena e che si deve cancellare quella esistente, anche quando ne ho solo una. Da aggiustare quest’aspetto.
Apprezzata la presenza della gestione della musica direttamente dallo smartwatch, cosa difficilissima sul Mi Band 4 a causa del display minuscolo. Apprezzato, dal punto di vista software, il fatto che durante l’allenamento, facendo uno swipe, a destro o a sinistra, vi è la possibilità di poter gestire la musica, senza perdersi nelle varie impostazioni.
E’ presente un unico pulsante fisico con cui è possibile tornare nella home oppure accedere a tutte le opzioni del dispositivo, quali:
• Dani sanitari giornalieri (passi, calorie, km percorsi e tempo di attività);
• Allenamento (15 tipi);
• Record allenamento;
• Frequenza cardiaca;
• Ossigeno nel sangue;
• Stress;
• Allenamento del respiro;
• Sonno;
• Meteo;
• Musica;
• Cronometro;
• Sveglia;
• Timer;
• Trova il tuo telefono (fa squillare il cellulare, se nel range del bluetooth)
• Altre impostazioni: luminosità, watchface, ecc.
L’app è ben fatta. La sincronizzazione è immediata. Se durante le giornate si disincronizza è perché non abbiamo concesso all’app di funzionare in background. Nell’app è possibile applicare, come detto prima, nuove watch face, oppure visualizzare tutti i riassunti giornalieri. Inoltre è possibile settare la ricezione delle notifiche e da quali app riceverle (Calendario, Email, SMS, Whatsapp, Telegram, Instagram, TikTok e YouTube).
Dopo la corsa è possibile avere tutte le informazioni necessarie, come il percorso effettuato, tramite il GPS del telefono abbinato, ovviamente: non ha il GPS integrato.
E’ possibile impostare le scorciatoie, ossia quali app aprire facendo uno swipe a destra o a sinistra della home dello smartwatch.
Le notifiche vengono ricevute tranquillamente. E’ possibile accedere allo storiche delle notifiche facendo uno swipe dall’alto verso il basso dalla home. Non possono essere visualizzate le immagini/emoticons. Non possono essere ascoltati gli audio. Alle notifiche non si può rispondere.
In caso di chiamata, arriva la notifica con vibrazione, a cui l’unica azione possibile è rifiutarla.
Dopo una settimana di utilizzo, posso dire quanto segue:
PRO
• Molto bello esteticamente;
• Display luminoso;
• Display fluido, tranne qualche ovvio lag (visto il prezzo);
• Grado impermeabilità fino a 5AMT;
• App;
• Autonomia.
NEUTRA
• Sicurezza dati dubbia. Vale per tutti gli smartwatch di marchi non conosciuti. Oddio, vale anche per i brand noti…
CONTRO
• Non è possibile settare la durata dell’accensione del display, una volta attivato;
• Non è possibile disattivare la funzione di monitoraggio costante del sonno.
CONCLUSIONE
Lo smartwatch a partire dalla confezione, risulta davvero ben fatto. L’orologio è bello esteticamente e curato nei dettagli. Il display è luminoso, per la fascia di prezzo, ovviamente. Attualmente il prezzo è di 36,99€: a questo prezzo è consigliato, ma quando in offerta sotto le 30€ è un Best Buy!

Ich wollte eine alltagstaugliche Uhr haben. Diese Uhr kann für den Preis wirklich viel, schaut schön und modern aus. Am meisten begeistert mich, dass man individuell einen Hintergrund bei der Uhr einstellen kann, z.B die eigene Familie. Die restlichen Funktionen sind auch super, Schrittzähler, Wecker, Anrufe, Puls,… etc.
Würd ich wieder kaufen.

I would give this watch 5 stars if it wasn’t for the second one I bought for someone had a bad battery .mine was great for steps and tracking exercise durations (its what I wanted it for)and had an amazing battery life . but the other one had a really short battery life so I don’t know whats the problem .

So pleased with this purchase. Synched easily to my iPhone, app is super user-friendly, and it appears to have all the function I was looking for. Plus, it’s very comfortable and pretty! The band is a very soft pink. Love the size of the screen too.
