Marcus dorleus –
Purchased this for my nephew’s birthday, and he loved it. It was in a small case when u open it it had a SD card it was my 1st purchase for a switch thought it was like a smaller dvd but was the size of a SD Card. We were able to plug it in and set him up playing in a few mins

Pues la animaciĂłn y los jugadores no se ven tan reales, no veo mejoras en cuanto al resto de los NBA anteriores….

My 10 year old son got this Switch game for his birthday. He has played it DAILY, ever since. He loves the challenges and replays. Awesome game. Not sure why some of the players have grey hair though….haha

My 8 year old son is a huge basketball fan and he had a chance to try out the NBA 2K24 Kobe Bryant edition for Switch. He loved playing the game after an initial steep learning curve so when his birthday rolled around we decided to get the 2K25 version for him.
Being a version for the Switch we realized there were some features that wouldn’t be available and we were ok with that. We were buying this for an at home experience with no online play and are rating and reviewing it as such. The 2K25 edition is VERY similar to the 2K24 with minor updates to players that we have noticed. We do find the interface rather confusing, especially around building and using your own custom players or how to even start a 2×2 or 3×3 game. It’s not spelled out well and there are no help files to be found.
Positives
– Good price at a discount
– High replayability factor
– We love all the retro teams and players and my son likes the WNBA teams as well
– Lots of customization. You can geek out as much or as little as you want with stats, plays, etc.
– Played smooth for us on Switch
– Graphics when zoomed out actually look good, especially for an aging Switch console.
Negatives
– Interface is confusing and not intuitive for where we expect to find things.
– Lacking useful help files. We still haven’t figured out how to play a 1×1 game with just us or 2×2 games with players we choose, how to use custom created players or custom sneakers.
– The online functionality we don’t use but seems to be engrained into much of the game. I would suspect the Switch user base is much lower than for other consoles.
– Closeups of many players show the age of the system. I didn’t fault too much because of how old Switch is, but some seem to be poor quality models.
– Somewhat steep learning curve for remembering all the moves and plays with no real way to customize the controller if desired.

Great game. We picked this up as a prime deal for my son for Christmas. He was pumped. He had a mountain of stuff and this was the first thing he played/opemed. The game is similar to past iterations but with upgrades. You can spend hundreds of hours playing each part of just jump in and try to beat the Celtics.
