I purchased this right before a vacation to see how well it’d work and I was amazed on the amount of games on this thing I can play pretty much anything I want from my childhood with no problem and the buttons and joysticks themselves are a much higher quality than expected. Overall a great purchase for anyone that wants to travel or relive some games from their childhood.

If you are a fan of old school retro games, this unit is for you. This has all the gaming system you grew up with and love. From the classic NES all the way to Playstation portable. Everything you remember playing on the television now in the palm of your hands.
Let’s talk about build. It’s practically all plastic so light weight. I don’t know how it will do against a drop and I hope I never have to find out. The direction pad is okay but could be better. But you can use the joystick and those seem to be very responsive. Sound is nice and loud. Screen is bright. Buttons are little louder than I like so try not to play around people who are trying to relax or sleep. Battery life is good so far. Been playing off and on and haven’t even charged it out the box yet. I prefer a system with the controls on the sides like this unit vs below the screen like some of the others ones out there. Much more comfortable in this configuration!
I did not find how to change the aspect ration between 4:3 and 16:9. So some of the older games will be in slightly stretch screen. Not the end of the world and I got use to it really quick and soon didn’t even notice it anymore.
Love this gaming unit. Will be coming with me on future long trips. If you want a trip down memory lane, get this!

Great for people with a little larger grip. Works well. Lags quite a bit on the 64 bit emulator but I have my own N64 for that. All in all good purchase.

This handheld has an impressive number of games preloaded, and that is easily its biggest strength. There is a ton of content here and plenty of variety if you are just looking to browse and try different retro titles.
Unfortunately the screen quality really hurts the experience. Text is difficult to read and the refresh rate is bad enough to be distracting during gameplay. The controls and overall interface are also frustrating and make navigating and playing less enjoyable than it should be.
There is a lot of potential here, but the screen and usability issues make it hard to recommend beyond casual or novelty use.

Love it!! But wish it came with a case. This is a fantastic gift for a game lover – all generations in our home love it! There are so many games to choose from!! It’s a nice size, good for small hands and adult hands. For the price, this is such a nice gift. It came slightly charged so we could play for a bit before needing to be fully charged. The screen is clear but not too bright, not cheap LEDs.
