The quality is lower than a switch obviously, however, I was shocked how cool some of the games are for the price point. The battery lasts pretty well and once you get used to it you can use it pretty easily. It tells you what buttons to select with and go back. Great for road trips and when my daughter comes to work with me. I enjoy the games myself. Some of them kind of repeat but this is great for younger kids learning gaming systems and a great way for them to learn responsibility with a device that *can* be replaced much easier than an expensive handheld device.

Got it for my five year old’s birthday. He loves it! He says the games are fun and there is a great variety. So far, it’s worked great and he likes the music. I like the games too. They remind me of the old Atari games with the planes! (Yes, I just aged myself…lol ) It’s nice to have something that doesn’t require internet, has nothing you have to earn to keep playing, and doesn’t have any ads. So far so good. My 8 year old daughter likes it too, so I ordered her the rose red.

When your toddler wants a switch, but they cant take care of their stuff they own, this is the next best thing !!!! The games are super fun too, we both play. He’s 5 yrs old. Eventually we will get him. Switch. In the meantime, this is where its at ! It does have a port for headphones as well, which i highly reccomend.

It’s a great game console but we have had it just one month and the charging port inside the game console has got loose inside and now we are unable to charge it. I have used a small flathead to delicately move it over to no avail. There is no connection to it charging capability inside.
