This game had a lot of potential but fails to deliver. Too many specials spawn too often. When given the chance to fix the problem they made an update that just made the special infected stronger. Results in what could be enjoyable gameplay just becoming way too frustrating. Don’t waste your money on this game.

This game does not say it requires the PS5 online gaming which is PlayStation Plus in order to play. It also does not allow you to play with multiple players at home with you…you can only play with others online. Nothing like the original games. I traded it right back in.

If you love Left 4 Dead, a card deck perk system, and multiple unique characters to play as, then this game is definitely for you!
It’s a trip down memory lane for me because it’s very similar to Left 4 Dead except more characters and a perk system!
I definitely recommend this!

Avoided initially due to bad game reviews. This version with all the expansions/patches redeems the game. Love that it’s cross platform. Able to play with a PS5 and Xbox in the same room. As close to a modern day couch coop L4D as we’re gonna get.
Having a blast! Feels like L4D’s spiritual successor.

Game play options are limited. You can’t play solo and earn progress resources. Weapon upgrades are pointless. You don’t keep weapons you upgrade.
